PURPOSE

People often ask me what inspired Forge47. It all began in 2019, when I went into cardiac arrest while playing basketball at the age of 47. In that moment, everything changed. I realized life has an expiration date, and it was time to start doing the things that truly fed my soul. What began as a simple idea of creating a cool office space for our team members and referral partners to connect professionally grew into something with a much greater purpose: an amazing hub for community connection built on creativity and gratitude.

As Forge47 evolved, so did my vision. I began dreaming about how I could help kids by creating experiences in a safe space that build confidence, promote healthy relationships, and replace sadness with purpose and gratitude. Forge47 quickly became a space where anyone willing to do the work, no matter their status or position, could belong to a community grounded in growth, encouragement, and support.

Forge47 now stands as a one-of-a-kind environment that blends a best-in-class event venue, elevated private office and workshare spaces, and a private members club. It's all designed for our membership community to build healthy connections and experience growth in every facet of life.

Given my story, it won't be a surprise that our mission with Forge47 is to Forge Purpose: find the greatest meaning in life, whatever that is for you, and pour yourself into it. Likewise, our vision is expressed in two simple statements: Unlimited Creativity. Unending Gratitude. During my 2019 episode, in the seven minutes I spent somewhere between this life and what comes next, I gained absolute clarity on the importance of living with purpose, creating goodness and value in pursuit of that purpose, and existing in a state of gratitude regardless of circumstance.

My prayer is for Forge47 to be a place where my wife, son, and daughter, and every Forge member, can lean in and be surrounded by people who uplift and inspire them to become the person they truly want to be.
